What is this investment?
This is a one-of-a-kind investment based on a new platform and is opened to the public who want to increase their income through investment with KAPB. CIMB Bank shall assist this investment by providing the followings:
- Opening current/savings bank account with CIMB Bank;
- Direct Debit transfer instruction to KAPB Membership Bank Account; and
- Dividend payment direct to Investors’ CIMB bank account.

Why haven’t I heard about KAPB before?
The reason is that previously, our fund-raising exercise was being carried out with the membership target being achieved in a short period of time. Today, this is the 1st time we are having a collaboration with CIMB and we open this investment to non-Malays applicants.

When do I get the dividend? Will it be pro-rated if I sign the Membership Application in the month of April, May, or December?
Yes, it will be pro-rated, and the dividend will be paid automatically to your CIMB account on or before month of June the following year.
For example:
Investment approval date: 15/03/2021
e.g. Investment amount: RM100,000.00
Dividend declared by KAPB for the year 2021: 8%
Dividend pay-out:
9/12 (completed month of the year) x 8% x RM100,000.00 = RM6,000.00
[which shall be paid after Annual General Meeting (AGM) or before June 2022]
What is the minimum amount that I can invest?
An applicant shall need to invest/contribute a minimum of RM50,000 in our Co-operative Society under Honorary Members’ category of fund, with an aggregate amount of RM10,000 for each additional and withdrawal, for each Honorary Membership.
How much is the joining fee? Is it refundable?
The joining fee is RM100.00 and shall be non-refundable.
Is there any lock-in period?
Shareholdings contribution shall be placed in our Co-operative Society and shall remain at least for a period of 2 years from the admission date of the Honorary Membership.
What is the difference between ordinary members and honorary members?
Is there any restriction when I can sell or add share?

What shall happen in the event of my death to my shares?
All shares will be transferred to the person nominated by you in our database.
When will KAPB announce yearly dividend?
Before or in the month of June the following year after the settlement of all documentations for audit purposes & Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Is the 8% dividend guaranteed?
It is not guaranteed.
If after I have received my 1st year dividend, but I want to withdraw before the end of 2nd year, what shall happen?

Is this membership/investment open to everyone?
Yes, it is.

This investment opportunity provides the investors with a platform of purchasing something that has a chance to gain higher value in future.
